About Howells

From a Wheelbarrow to a Fall Wonderland: 50 Years of Howells Adventure Farm

It has been 50 years since a young Jerry Howell first filled a wheelbarrow with pumpkins from his family farm in Fonthill, Ontario, selling them to passersby.

Today, Howell Family Pumpkin Farm has grown into a seasonal destination. In the summer, visitors can explore sunflower fields, interact with farm animals, and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities. When fall arrives, the farm offers Niagara’s largest selection of pumpkins—including giant pumpkins—along with festive attractions for all ages.

Each autumn, the farm transforms into the thrilling Howl’n Theme Area, making it a must-visit spot for fall fun.
